Aquatic Saturday: Clever Critters!
The Strawberry Mansion Lake has been here for decades, let’s see what’s inside! Join Audubon Mid-Atlantic in observing and documenting this aquatic ecosystem as the seasons change. For April 4th, we're focusing on our insect larvae and caring for their habitats. We're using Leaf Packets to collect our aquatic macroinvertebrates, sampling in different spots in the reservoir. Their presence can help us plan future habitat restoration. You'll learn how to identify what we find, and assist with planting native plants.
