Join Audubon Mid-Atlantic in observing and documenting this aquatic ecosystem as the seasons change
We'll use DIY leaf packets to collect aquatic insects, sample in different spots along the edge of the reservoir, and learn how to identify what we find. We will also partner with LandHealth Institute to observe the fish in our lake and learn about city fishing. Kid-friendly activities are available, including binoculars for bird watching, scavenger hunts, and arts and crafts.
