Gouverneur Morris ('the Penman of the Constitution'), Alexander Hamilton and other members of the founding generation boarded at Miss Dalley's boarding house du
ring the Constitutional Convention in 1787. The historic marker dedication ceremony will be held on April 18 at 12:30. Market Street between Second and Third Streets will be shut down to accommodate the crowds at this free event. Historian Richard Brookhiser is the keynote speaker, along with other speakers. A fife and drum corps and color guard will available for pictures, along with educational panels.
