Our experience
Northern Liberties shuts down 2nd Street for 14 blocks, Spring Garden up to Girard, and packs it with 250-plus vendors, a handful of live-music stages, and food trucks nose to tail. It's a lot, in the good way: let the kids loose on the sidewalk-chalk and craft tables while you graze from a maker you've never heard of. Come for lunch, not dinner; the family energy fades and the beer-garden crowd takes over as it gets later.
