Meet Orbit, our event-checking sidekick

Orbit, the Tinyjawns event-checking satellite

Few things are worse than packing everyone into the car for an event that got cancelled the night before. So we built Orbit: every morning, it reviews upcoming events' websites and social pages for known cancellations, time changes, location updates, and rain-date moves — starting with the events happening that day.

Here's what you'll see around the site:

  • All clear from Orbit — Orbit checked and found no changes, with exactly when it looked.
  • Heads up from Orbit — something worth double-checking before you head out, with a link to the venue's announcement. Confirmed changes get called out directly: Cancelled, Postponed, or Sold out.

One honest note: Orbit catches changes venues post publicly — it can't know about a decision that hasn't been announced yet. For the big outings, a quick double-check with the venue is still a good idea.

Birthday parties — now in soft launch

Planning a kid's birthday in Philly usually means twenty open tabs and a lot of “call for pricing.” We've been quietly building a better way: browse hundreds of Philadelphia-area venues that host kids' parties — plus entertainers who come to you — with packages, pricing, and what's included, side by side.

  • Search by what your kid is into — climbing, ponies, slime, dinosaurs, you name it
  • Real package details: prices, guest counts, party rooms, hosts, food
  • “They come to you” options for at-home and park parties

It's a soft launch — we're adding venues and filling in details every week, so if a favorite spot is missing or a package looks off, tell us and we'll get it fixed.
