The Philadelphia African Restaurant Week Festival is the block-party finale to the city's African Restaurant Week, a celebration of African, African American, and Caribbean food and culture. Held at JFK Plaza (LOVE Park) on Saturday, July 11 from noon to 7 PM, the festival features a marketplace of local vendors and small businesses, a DJ spinning Afrobeats, soca, amapiano, and R&B, live cultural performances and dancers, and food from Philadelphia's African and Caribbean restaurants available to buy on site. Admission is free and open to all ages; food and goods are pay-as-you-go. LOVE Park sits at 15th and Arch, steps from City Hall and easily reached by SEPTA.
