In the six-class series, participants make affordable, approachable recipes, enjoy a family-style meal, and learn strategies to prevent type 2 diabetes including: Intro to diabetes prevention, Complex carbohydrates, Protein/plant-based eating, Fat & Fiber, Sodium & Added Sugar, Snacking & Ultra Processed foods. Each topic is paired with guided discussion and culinary instruction to build confidence, address barriers, and reinforce behavior change. Participants will leave each session with practical strategies, skills, and recipes you can use at home, facilitating sustainable lifestyle and dietary changes.
