historic public park with family attractions

Franklin Square is one of William Penn’s original five public squares in Philadelphia, a seven-acre urban park bordering the Historic District. Families can play the year-round Philly Mini Golf course that features scaled landmarks, ride the Parx Liberty Carousel, watch the restored fountain’s musical light-and-water shows, and let kids burn energy on the award-winning playground. The park also includes on-site dining at SquareBurger and seasonal events such as the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival.
