A South Philly institution since 1945. Water ice in rotating seasonal flavors (cantaloupe, mango, peach, cherry, lemon), plus gelatis, and regular ice cream — the coffee chocolate chip is unreal. Open mid-April through mid-September. The line moves fast. You eat it on the sidewalk. That's the whole experience.
