More details
The African American Museum in Philadelphia kicks off the city's Juneteenth weekend with its annual Juneteenth Jubilee, a free block party that doubles as the museum's 50th birthday. Four stages bring DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, the Marian Anderson Scholar Artists, and the West Powelton Steppers, while a dedicated Kids Zone keeps the littlest ones busy with hands-on activities. New for 2026 is the Jazz Tunnel, with a 15-piece jazz band, a relaxed lounge, food trucks, and shaded seating. A vendor village highlights Black-owned businesses, and museum admission is free all day.
