Join us for a special member sail on the Skipjack Sigsbee, here from the Chesapeake Bay
Originally built in 1901, Sigsbee served in an oystering fleet for 88 years, and became notable as the first skipjack with a woman captain. Today, Sigsbee sails the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays, teaching students about the ecology, history, and economic importance of her local waters.
