The 8th annual pierogi festival in Port Richmond, free to walk into, with a kids carnival corner
Campbell Square fills up for the 8th annual Port Richmond Pierogi Fest, five hours devoted to dough in the neighborhood that has been making it longest. Some of the oldest Polish restaurants in Port Richmond set up alongside more than 100 vendors, food trucks, and local artisans, with live music running through the afternoon. Entry is free and food is pay as you go. There is a dedicated kids section with carnival games, sand art, face painting, darts, and a fun house, so the little ones have their own corner while the rest of the family works through the pierogi. Campbell Square is a small neighborhood park, which keeps the whole thing walkable in one loop.
