Seger Park is a 1.9-acre community park spanning the full city block between Lombard and Rodman Streets from 10th to 11th Street in Washington Square West. The park features a fenced-in tot lot with bucket swings, slides, and a crawling tunnel for kids under 6, plus a separate playground area for ages 5-12 with age-appropriate climbing equipment and swings — both on artificial turf. The park also includes a seasonal spray ground, basketball courts, renovated tennis and pickleball courts (2022), a tetherball area, a dog run, and a recreation center with restrooms and water fountain. Mature trees provide generous shade throughout.
