Snakes-N-Scales provides live, hands-on educational animal programs that visit schools, libraries, camps, scout troops and birthday parties. Programs feature snakes, lizards, turtles and other reptiles; children hear rescue stories, learn natural-history facts, and often get an opportunity to touch or meet the animals. The organization also rescues unwanted or abandoned reptiles and uses outreach to teach about their importance in the environment.
