Eight blocks of South Street between Front and 8th, each block running its own theme for the afternoon. The Kid's Pumpkin Playground at Headhouse Plaza has a bounce house, mini golf, face painting and activities. Elsewhere: a Renaissance faire on the 100 block, Foodie Alley on the 200, artisanal goods on the 300, the Milkboy anniversary stage on the 400, a vinyl block party on Passyunk Ave, a skate park on the 500, a macabre masquerade on the 600 and a Brauhaus Schmitz Oktoberfest on the 700. Free to walk in, pay per vendor.
