More details
A chapter book comes alive as young artists and authors listen to a read-aloud, take turns reading aloud, and then discuss the characters, setting, plot and fig
urative language. Then we brainstorm...sparks fly and an idea catches, creatives run with it: writing and illustrating their own short story using sketching, painting, watercolors, collage, or mixed media. Every session ends with a one-of-a-kind story, sparked by a shared book and brought to life in each young author's own words and art. (Ages 6+)
