Our experience
Sunset Social, the rooftop spot up on Cira Green, runs free Saturday movie matinees on a 60-foot screen with the skyline and the river right behind it, and June 13 is The Mitchells vs. The Machines. We went last summer with the kids, and honestly they spent more time running around than watching, which is sort of the point: there is plenty of room to roam up there, and the view over the river is the real draw. It starts at noon, it is free, and they run cheap food and drink specials, like $3 cheeseburgers and $2 hot dogs. Bring a blanket or a chair, maybe a jacket, get there early, and yes, dogs are welcome.
