The Clay Studio is a community ceramics center with studios, a gallery/shop, exhibitions, and a permanent collection. It offers year-round classes in handbuilding, wheel-throwing, casting, and glazing as well as workshops and summer camps for kids. Families can attend public programs such as Hands on Clay and Clay Fest or bring studio programming to schools and neighborhoods via the Claymobile. The site also hosts resident artists and sells handmade work in its Functional Gallery.
