The Philadelphia Orchard Project's annual Apple Fest and Pawpaw Palooza on the grounds of Woodford Mansion in East Fairmount Park. Fresh cider pressed on site, apple and pawpaw tastings, pawpaw ice cream, pumpkin painting, a cider vinegar workshop, lawn games, and tours of the mansion, its gardens, the orchard and the neighboring Fair Amount Food Forest. Free and open to the public; bring a picnic blanket.
