Anna Bee's Honey
Hands-on beekeeping on a hidden South Philly garden
About
Anna Bee's Honey offers immersive beekeeping experiences on a four-acre community garden in South Philadelphia. Founded by a Cornell Master Beekeeper who started keeping bees when his daughter Anna was 7, the "Beekeeper for a Day" program gives families a hands-on adventure learning about honeybees and honey. Fully insured and licensed by the PA Dept. of Agriculture.
Parent note: Sessions run 1.5–2 hours with no rush. Kids handle real bees, taste honey from the hive, and try to spot the queen. Ages 5+, children under 18 must be with a paying adult.
