The Northern Liberties farmers market goes full spring kickoff — Wissahickon Brewery and Red Brick Winery pouring in the beer garden, Scusi Pizza and Humpty's Dumplings on the food truck side, Maid in Bloom doing build-your-own bouquets, and Pickle Dude and Heyday Farm selling produce. Plus live music, kid-friendly games, and enough vendor booths to keep everyone busy. The Piazza courtyard is stroller-friendly and easy to leave if the kids are done.

World Circus Day: From History to Gritty

If the older kids still have gas in the tank — aerialists, jugglers, and acrobats perform the finale of a 10-day circus festival. Pay what you can. The family show is at 5, the adult cabaret is at 8:30.
